Thérèse Agnes Marie Larivière

Peacefully, with her family by her side, Thérèse Larivière (nee: Lambert) passed away at the Repos Jolys in St. Pierre, Manitoba.

Mom will be deeply missed by her four children, Monique (Marcel Coulombe), Gerry (Chantal), Janet, and Joelle; four grandchildren, Maxine, Jessé (Réanne), Janique, Jax, and three great-grandchildren, Rémi, Vivianne and Jude as well as siblings, extended family, nephews, and nieces.

Mom was a very compassionate and caring person. Her love for her family was her life. She went far beyond the titles of mom and grandmother, giving endlessly of herself. She was always telling stories from the past, making jokes, and bringing laughter wherever she went. Everyone who knew her loved her dearly. Mom made every family gathering special and worked hard to keep our family close and connected. She was happiest working in her yard, the house filled with people, and feeding those she loved.

In April of 2013, Mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Although our lives changed, she remained the loving and caring woman she had always been – just in a different way.

She will be deeply missed, and a piece of our hearts has gone with her.

The family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Repos Jolys Care Home, where Mom spent the last nine years of her life. We are forever grateful for the love and care she received.
