Scott Douglas Haslam

July 9, 1976 — January 4, 2026

Scott Douglas Haslam, was born on July 9, 1976, in Victoria, British Columbia. He passed away peacefully on January 4, 2026, at Ste. Anne Hospital in Ste. Anne, Manitoba, following a courageous battle with Glioblastoma.

Scott was the light and rock in his wife Diana’s life, bringing love, laughter, and strength to every day they shared. He was known for his clever sense of humour, witty jokes, playful pranks, and expressive facial expressions that never failed to make Diana smile. Scott worked at CTD until his diagnosis and treasured spending time with Diana at the Diamond Aces R/C Flying Club.

Beyond his humour, Scott was admired for his intelligence and remarkable ability to absorb knowledge effortlessly. He loved various sports and was kind, caring, and considerate to everyone he met. Above all, he was a devoted husband and a loving son.

Scott’s passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who loved him, especially his beloved wife, Diana. In her words: “Scott, I will miss the way you lovingly teased me, your funny jokes, and the facial expressions you would make. You were my biggest supporter and encourager.”

Scott is survived by his wife, Diana Haslam; her parents, Lucy Huynh and Bill Luc; her sister, Jenny Luc (Alex), and their children; his father, Rick Haslam (Melinda); his mother, Patricia Bailey; his brother, Steven; and his step-siblings, Raymond and Cynthia.

Scott also had fond memories of our friends Patrick, Tracey, and Dean, who came to visit us at our home.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate and caring staff at Ste. Anne Hospital for the kindness and support shown to Scott and Diana during his stay.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Scott's name to Cancer Care Manitoba.

No formal services are currently planned.
