Roberta Isaac

Roberta Toews Isaac, daughter of Frank and Emma Toews, was born on April 4, 1935 in Winnipeg, MB. She passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Oct. 11, 2025 at the Souris Hospital, Souris, MB reaching the age of 90 years.

She accepted the Lord into her heart while in her early teens, and was baptized into the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, being faithful to the end.

Mom received her education at the Rosenort School.

As a young adult, Mom enjoyed her work as a health care aid at the TB Sanitorium in Winnipeg, and the hospital in Alma, Michigan.

Mom was married to our Dad, Clifford Isaac, on November 24, 1957. The first years of their marriage were spent in Rosenort, and in April of 1963, they moved to Sinclair, where they purchased a farm and raised their family of three sons and two daughters.

Mom loved spending time with her family, and was always interested in their lives and well-being. She also enjoyed volunteering with meals-on-wheels, having tea with her friends and neighbors, and always had the coffee pot on for anyone who stopped by.

Mom and Dad left the farm to move to Cromer in 2011. After Dad passed away, she continued to live there until 2023. She loved to make frequent visits to the Cromer Store & friends around the area to brighten up the days. When she moved to Golden Estates in Reston, she appreciated her new friendships there.

She was diagnosed with cancer the beginning of September, and spent the final five weeks of her life at the Souris Hospital, where we as her family treasured the many hours we spent with her there.

A special thank you to Dr. Cram and the nursing staff at the Souris Hospital for their excellent care and compassion that our Mom received while there, as well as the outpouring of love from all the friends and family who stopped by to visit.

Those left to cherish precious memories are her children; Rocky and Connie, Stuart and Audrey, Kevin, Debbie and Rick, and Wanda and Rolly; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sisters-in-law and brother-in-law; nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Clifford, and her brother.

A visitation viewing will be held from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at the Sinclair Church of God in Christ Mennonite, in Sinclair, Manitoba. As well as 1 hour prior to the service.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at the Sinclair Church of God in Christ Mennonite. Interment will take place in the church cemetery. A reception and sharing of memories will follow the interment.
