Melvin Richard Hiebert

Melvin Hiebert, aged 66, passed away peacefully at Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, MB. on March 30, 2026.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Clara; his son Robert (Renae) Hiebert; and one grandson, Benjamin; his sister, Charlotte (Lawrence); brothers Charles (Roseanne) and Howard (Pat) and their families; as well as two brothers-in-law, Ken and Jacob (Marina); one sister-in-law Marge (James).

He was predeceased by his parents, Jacob and Helen Klassen and stepfather Peter Hiebert.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at the Bothwell Christian Fellowship, 20 Sara Ave., New Bothwell, MB. Viewing will be held 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will take place in the Hespeler Cemetery, Niverville, MB. For those unable to attend in person, the family would like to invite you to join them through livestream. Please see below.
