Karen Irene Baldwin

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our loving mom, Karen Irene Baldwin (Lillyman) on August 6, 2026. She is survived by her two sons, Gary Parkes-Toews (Ashley) and Michael Parkes; her two adorable grandchildren, Charley and Lincoln; her brother Keith Lillyman (Jen) of B.C.

Karen is predeceased by her husband Earl Baldwin (Bill); her dad and mom, Gordon and Dorothy Lillyman; her sister Elaine Lillyman; her brothers Robert (Bob) Lillyman, Ken Lillyman, and Tom Lillyman.

Karen had many jobs in her lifetime, but the one that stood out the most as her favorite was school bus driver for Balmoral Hall Girls School.

In her younger years, she loved curling and golfing.

She loved camping, fishing, bingo, happy hour at the complex, and cheering on the Bombers. She loved spending time with her boys and grandchildren.

Karen will also miss her best friend, Cathy Gogol (Benito, MB), who stuck beside her in good times and bad.

At Karen’s request, there will be no funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
