Kanako Ikeda
November 12, 1932 — March 2, 2026
Peacefully with her son Ross by her side, Kanako Ikeda (nee Matsushita) passed away at Vita Manitoba on March 2, 2026 at the age of 93 years.
Kanako was predeceased by her husband Kenneth and son Thomas, brothers and sisters, Yuriko, Suzuko, Harumi, Midori, Yoko, Shoichi and Takeshi
Left to be remembered by her sons Douglas, Ross and Gordon, daughter in laws, Colleen, Susan and Hang, grandchildren Brandon, Bethany, Ryan, Jacob, Cole and Devyn.
Kanako was born in Steveston BC November 12, 1932.
She was a Registered Nurse working at Scarborough General Hospital and in the latter years also at Bendale Acres Long Term Care Home.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to the hospital staff for the care provided to Kanako.
Kanako’s wishes was for no service or a Celebration of Life.
