Joey Vajdl

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the accidental yet sudden passing of Joseph (Joey) Vajdl on Thursday May 29th, 2025, at the age of 61.

He is predeceased by many family members of the Vajdl and Brûlé families who had a lasting impact on his life, too numerous to mention by name.

He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his wife of 36 years, Rachelle, his daughter: Lainie, son-in-law: David and grandson: Damon; his sisters: Kathy (Kel) and Helen, brothers: Tom (Dawn) and Bill; sisters-in-law: Delyse (Gil) and Trina; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In keeping with Joey’s wishes, a celebration of life will be held in Île-des-Chênes, Manitoba at the TC Energy Centre on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
