Jocelyn McIntosh

March 9, 1976 — June 7, 2021

On June 7, 2021 Jocelyn McIntosh, beloved wife and best friend of Kyle McIntosh passed quietly from this life.

Left to cherish her many memories are husband Kyle, daughter Amber, son Alex, parents Paul and Margaret Friesen, father-in-law and mother-in-law Don and Anita McIntosh, one sister, 2 brothers, 2 sisters-in-law and their families.

She will forever be remembered for her love and care for the less fortunate, disabled, and especially children. For many years she worked with children in youth programs and the Awana children’s program. She touched countless lives with her heart of compassion. She always made sure others felt important, often masking physical pain in order to focus on the needs of others. Her laugh and smile brightened every place she entered and warmed the soul of every person she came in contact with. The IICU staff at Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, MB were always greeted with a smile each day even during her toughest moments. Jocelyn lived life and her legacy will live on through the lives she impacted and inspired.

A private Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Crossings Funeral Care. The family invites friends to watch a recording of the service which will be made available here, on Sunday June 20, 2021.

The family extends their appreciation to the staff at the Health Sciences Centre for their kindness and compassionate care.
