Helmut Friesen

Unexpectedly, on November 1, 2023, Helmut "Krash" Friesen passed away at St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg, MB, with family at his side.

He is survived by common law spouse, Kimberley Klassen, son Dion (Carla), daughter Charla (Bill) Friesen, and stepdaughter Cora-Lee (Joel) Cudmore. His brothers, Peter (Diane), Jake (Brenda Olson), Paul (Susan), Henry (Valerie), and sisters-in-law, Donna Blackwell Friesen and Jean Friesen, one brother-in-law John Friesen. Grandchildren Ellie, Zion, Hannah, Jessie, Theryn, Ava, and Eli. Many nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews.

His grandchildren were the light of his life.

He was predeceased by one son Jamie, his parents Victor and Katharina, two brothers Harry and Victor and one sister Katharina (Katie).

He will be missed by his family and many friends.

Cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dialysis Unit at St. Boniface Hospital.
