It is with deep sorrow that the family of Claude Joseph Vallieres announces his passing on June 9, 2025, at the age of 83.
Claude was a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He is lovingly remembered by his children: Darryl Gauthier (Linda), Lucie Vallieres, Debbie Vallieres, Dwayne Gauthier (Barb), and Nicole Vallieres (Curtis).
He was predeceased by his beloved wife and best friend Alice Gauthier, his daughters Carroll Gauthier and Sylvie Vallieres, and his parents Flore and Leon Vallieres.
Claude leaves behind a legacy of love and family, survived by 21 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, each of whom he held dear to his heart.
A talented musician, Claude found great joy in playing the violin and guitar. He and Alice worked side by side for many years, running their own successful plastering and drywall business. Known for his work ethic, sense of humor, and love of life, Claude enjoyed fishing trips to the lake, playing hockey in his younger days, and cheering on his favorite hockey teams with pride and passion.
As per Claude's wishes, a private family service will be held. He will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife, Alice, forever united with his best friend.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Ste. Anne Hospital, with special thanks to nurse Vanessa for her outstanding care and compassion.
Claude will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
