Brenda Lee Mankey

It is with great sadness that we mourn the loss of our precious Brenda. Brenda Lee Mankey passed away Monday, September 23, 2024, at the age of 50.

She was predeceased by her father, Ronald Mankey. Left to cherish her memory is her partner Dave, his parents Lydia and Ted and the Boyachek family.

Her two daughters Kayla and her husband Adam, Natasha and her boyfriend Ezra. Her two grandsons Chase and Bo. Her mother Sally, her big brother Blake, her little sister Twyla and her brother-in-law Clare. Her nieces and nephews, Shawn, Brittney, Brooke, Casey and their families.

Brenda had a big heart, which drove her to pursue a career in health care. She worked as a health care aid which she loved and found very rewarding. Her big heart also showed up in her love for spending time outdoors and she especially had a love for animals.

Her years spent on the family farm in New Bothwell held some of her favorite memories including building a home for the family.

She will be remembered for her beautiful heart.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at Crossview Church, 345 Loewen Blvd., Steinbach, MB. Followed by a time of fellowship in the church reception area. For those unable to attend the service in person, the family invites you to join them through livestream. 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Brenda's memory to Adult and Teen Challenge.
