Bernd A.W. Weinberger

It is with sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Bernd A.W. Weinberger at his home in Sprague, Manitoba on June 24, 2025, at the age of 67.

Bernd was born on December 24, 1957, in Germany and later made Canada his home. He chose a quiet, independent life and was known for his self-reliance and gentle presence. Though he had no known family in Canada and lived alone, he was part of the Sprague community in his own quiet way, and he spent his final days in his home.

Cremation has taken place, and a private interment will be held at a later date.

Bernd will be remembered by those who crossed paths with him and by the community he quietly shared his life with.
