Barbara Ann Barkman
April 23, 1967 — March 5, 2024
Barbara Barkman (nee Unrau) of Steinbach, MB passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends, at the age of 56, after a courageous battle of cancer on Tuesday, March 5th, 2024, at Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Steinbach, MB.
Barbara is survived by her beloved husband, of 34 years, Allan. Her children, Marc (Chantelle) Barkman, Michael Barkman and Chaylene (Colin) Petkau. Her grandchildren, Brooklyn & Ezra, Emma & Grace. Brothers, Wiliam (Ruth) Unrau, David (Elizabeth) Unrau and Philip (Myrna) Unrau. Sisters, Diane (Bill) Reimer and Sharon (John) Funk. Numerous nieces and nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.
Barbara was predeceased by her parents Jacob & Mary Unrau, parents-in-law Alfred & Evelyn Barkman, and sister-in-law Diane (Dyck) Unrau. She was also predeceased by numerous aunts and uncles.
On April 23, 1967, Barbara was born to Jacob & Mary Unrau at Portage General Hospital.
