Agnes Rasmussen

Agnes Rasmussen (nee. Poetker), of Steinbach, MB, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 10, 2026 at the Morris General Hospital, Morris, MB.

Born December 24, 1935 in Steinbach, MB to Henry & Agatha. Agnes spent her life nurturing her family and community.

Agnes was known for her generous heart. She found great satisfaction in volunteering and helping others. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Agnes was predeceased by her loving husband Lloyd.

She is survived by her devoted sons, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

The celebration of Agnes’ life will begin at 2:00 pm with tributes and sharing at 2:30 pm on Friday June 26, 2026 at the Bothwell Christian Fellowship Church Reception Hall, 20 Sara Drive, New Bothwell, MB.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Mennonite Central Committee, an organization close to Agnes's heart.
